Do I need coding experience?

No. Pick a template and you have a storefront. On Growth and Scale you also get Vesse Studio — a drag-and-drop page builder where you edit your store by clicking things, not writing code.

How do I get paid?

Three ways. Vesse Pay collects for you and you withdraw to your bank — no gateway account needed, and it is the fastest way to start. Or connect your own PayFast or iKhokha account and money lands with you directly. You choose per store.

What does Vesse charge on a sale?

On Vesse Pay it is 6.5% total on Free, 4.5% on Growth and 3.5% on Scale. That covers the payment gateway too — there is no separate processing fee on top. If you connect your own PayFast or iKhokha, you pay their rates and Vesse takes nothing.

What is Vesse Studio?

The page builder. Instead of picking a template and living with it, you build each page from sections — hero, product grids, testimonials, whatever you need — and drag them into the order you want. It comes with 12 one-click starter designs on Growth, and 24 more plus 23 premium sections on Scale. Studio is on Growth and Scale; Free gets all 32 templates.

Can I sell services and take bookings?

Yes. Add a service, set its duration and your opening hours, and customers book a slot online. Growth and Scale can also take a deposit up front and send automatic reminders before the appointment.

Can I sell digital products?

Yes. Upload the file and customers get a secure download link the moment they pay. Every plan includes it — the file size cap and how many you can list go up as you upgrade.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on Growth and Scale. Point your domain at Vesse and your store runs on it with SSL. On Free your store lives at a vesse.co.za address.

Can I upgrade or cancel later?

Any time, both directions. Upgrades apply immediately. If you cancel you keep everything until the end of the period you have paid for, then move to Free automatically — your products, orders and customers stay where they are.

What happens if I hit my product limit?

Nothing breaks. Everything already listed stays live and sellable. You just cannot add more until you upgrade or remove something.

Do customers need an account to buy?

No. Checkout works without signing up, which keeps drop-off low. Customers can create an account if they want order history and a wishlist.

Will my store work on mobile?

Yes, and most of your traffic will be mobile. Every template and every Studio section is built to work on a phone first.

Can I run more than one store?

On Scale, up to three — each with its own products, orders, domain and design, all managed from one login.
